What is Compression Therapy

What is Percussion massage

Generally, percussion massage therapy is beneficial to anyone and everyone. It has a wide range of benefits for athletes, those recovering from injuries, and the everyday person. Maybe you sit at an office desk all day and have neck and back soreness. Percussion therapy can help relax your muscles and relieve the pain!

What is Cupping?

Cupping Therapy is an ancient form of Alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, Blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

The modern version of cupping uses a rubber pump to create the vacuum inside the cup. In some cases, a therapists will use silicone cups, which they can move by sliding from place to place on your skin for a Deep Tissue massage like effect.

What is Gua Sha a.k.a. Scrapping

Gua sha is the practice of using a tool to apply pressure and scrape the skin to relieve pain and tension.

Physiotherapists use IASTM on connective tissue that is not working to move joints as it should. This problem may be due to a repetitive strain or injury or another condition.

What is Flossing - a.k.a. Voodoo Flossing

Voodoo Flossing is also known as Muscle Flossing, is a method of soft tissue mobilization/manipulation that utilizes a latex rubber band similar to that of resistance bands (with much more durability and less extensibility) for intermittent compression during either passive or active mobilization.
